Promises, promises

As I promised, the cover is amazing. Unfortunately, I also promised that the book would be published by now. We received the cover late last night and were all set to publish the book this morning and then today happened. First thing was that the whole book five file disappeared from Gary's computer. Fortunately, I had a copy that I sent to him. Yes, he did have back up copies but he thought something was off with them. Anyway, he is now dealing with Office Word issues. He thinks he'll have everything fixed by tomorrow. He hopes.

Long years ago, one of my favorite children's books was Judith Viorst's Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good and Very Bad Day. In the end, Alexander's mother tells him that "Some days are like that, even in Australia". Well, some days are like that, even in Alaska.
